The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has conducted a security assessment visit to Kuchi-Bena Village and Winning Court Estate in Lifecamp, Abuja, as part of efforts to enhance safety and strengthen policing in the area.
During the visit, the police chief carried out an on-the-spot evaluation of the community’s security structure, including an inspection of a newly established police outpost provided by residents of the estate.
Following the assessment, he directed the immediate deployment of additional personnel to the facility to ensure effective operations and improved response to security threats.

In a move to promote peace and mutual understanding, the CP also scheduled a meeting with community leaders from Kuchi-Bena Village and residents of Winning Court Estate.
The engagement is expected to address existing tensions between indigenes and estate dwellers, while fostering stronger collaboration on security matters.
As part of broader measures to curb crime, the police boss ordered intelligence-led operations and intensified patrols across the area to deter criminal activities and maintain a visible security presence.
Residents across the FCT were urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements or incidents to the nearest police station or through designated emergency lines.
The statement was issued by Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command.
