The All Progressives Congress (APC) has directed that all Ward, Local Government, and State Executive Committees elected during the party’s 2026 congresses be sworn in with immediate effect.

The directive was contained in a press statement issued in Abuja on March 3, 2026.
According to the statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the inauguration of the newly elected executives should take place “today or soon hereafter,” in line with the relevant provisions of the party’s constitution.

The party described the congresses conducted across the country as peaceful and commended members, stakeholders, and supporters for their participation.

It also congratulated all elected officials emerging from the internal party exercise.

The swearing-in directive formally transitions the party’s newly elected officials into office at the Ward, Local Government, and State levels, consolidating the outcomes of the 2026 congresses.
