The 29th graduation ceremony of Regina Pacis College, Garki, Abuja, held on Friday, July 25, 2025, was a vibrant celebration of academic excellence and moral formation. The Class of 2025, known as The Orion Class, was charged to uphold good conduct and use their education to make lasting, positive contributions to society.
The day began with a solemn thanksgiving Mass at the school chapel, presided over by the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Joseph Obada. In his homily, he encouraged the graduating students to stay connected to their alma mater and live purpose-driven lives. He reminded them that true success lies not in material wealth but in the number of lives they impact positively.

Delivering the keynote address, the Vice Chancellor of Veritas University, Rev. Fr. (Prof.) Hyacinth Ichoku, challenged the students to dream big and remain focused. He described them as privileged, highlighting the plight of millions of Nigerian youths who lack access to formal education. He urged the graduates to seize the opportunity they’ve been given and become catalysts for national transformation.
In her address, the Principal, Rev. Sr. Mary Aloysius Onwuegbuchulam, DDL, PhD, praised the graduating class for their brilliance, discipline, and holistic development. She emphasized the significance of the graduation theme, “Empowered to be Inspired to Succeed,” which she said encapsulates the students’ academic journey and spiritual growth.
The ceremony was rich with memorable highlights, including a stirring orchestra performance, the unveiling of the Class of 2025 yearbook, a heartfelt valedictory speech by Chikamara Obinna-Chukwu, and a successful fundraising segment that raised over ₦20 million for the acquisition of additional computers and digital learning resources for the school.

The event was attended by proud parents, alumni, and notable dignitaries, all of whom shared in the joy of the occasion and expressed optimism about the bright future ahead for The Orion Class.
