Troops of Sector 1 of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested two suspected vandals and recovered stolen metal rods during a stop-and-search operation in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security sources confirmed that the suspects were apprehended in the early hours of Saturday, June 7, at a security checkpoint in the Latya area.
The suspects were identified as Mr. Davour David, 38, and Justice Pirfa, 39.
According to the sources, troops attached to Sub-Sector 12 intercepted a white Daihatsu Hijet vehicle with registration number LAG APP 903 XP during a routine stop-and-search operation.
