Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially flagged off activities for the 2026 National Police Day with a community sanitation exercise and free medical outreach in Area 1, Abuja.

The initiative, held on Monday, March 30, 2026, was led by the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Muhammad, as part of efforts to strengthen community relations and promote public wellbeing.Residents of Area 1 benefited from the free medical services, which targeted vulnerable groups, while the sanitation exercise focused on improving environmental cleanliness in the area.

The Command reaffirmed its dedication to fostering stronger partnerships with the public as activities marking the 2026 National Police Day continue across the territory.
