The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced the death of its Divisional Crime Officer I (DCO I) at Wuse Division, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Uguemmah Emmanuel.
The officer died on Thursday, November 5, 2026, according to a statement issued by the Command on Friday.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Muhammad Sanusi, expressed condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late officer on behalf of the Command’s officers and personnel.
Sanusi prayed that God would grant the bereaved family and loved ones the strength to cope with the loss.
The FCT Police Command also expressed sympathy with those affected by Emmanuel’s passing, acknowledging the loss within the police community.
The statement was signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on November 6, 2026.
The Command did not disclose further details surrounding the circumstances of the officer’s death.
