Chelsea have reportedly emerged as a potential destination for Cristiano Ronaldo, while Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres is attracting interest from Galatasaray as the January transfer window approaches.
Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, has been linked with a possible move to Chelsea in January. The claim, reported by Match Fire, has not been confirmed by Chelsea or Ronaldo’s representatives.
Meanwhile, Turkish club Galatasaray are reportedly considering a January approach for Arsenal forward Viktor Gyökeres.
According to Turkish-Football, Galatasaray have already made contact with Arsenal regarding a possible deal and could increase their efforts if Gyökeres continues to struggle for regular playing time.
Several other Premier League clubs are also monitoring potential January moves.
Manchester United have reportedly been linked with Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, although Football Insider reports that United are not currently planning a move for the forward.
Chelsea are also said to be monitoring Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton as midfield targets. The Blues could additionally consider a move for Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Sociedad defender Jon Martín is another player attracting attention, with the 20-year-old reportedly being monitored ahead of a possible future move.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on former academy player Tyler Morton following his impressive start to the season with Lyon. The midfielder is also reportedly attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
The Reds are also monitoring Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite as a potential long-term successor to Virgil van Dijk, according to Football Insider.
Elsewhere, Alejandro Garnacho’s loan spell from Chelsea at Aston Villa reportedly contains no break clause. The Telegraph reports that any attempt to end the arrangement early in January would therefore require negotiations between the two clubs.
Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl, while Barcelona are said to be interested in RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba.
AC Milan and Roma are also reportedly considering loan moves for Real Madrid forward Endrick during the January window.
Other developments include Aston Villa’s interest in securing Emi Buendía’s future, Beşiktaş’s reported pursuit of Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock and Barcelona’s efforts to find a permanent buyer for goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen following his loan spell at Ajax.
With the January transfer window approaching, Ronaldo, Gyökeres, Endrick, Garnacho and several other high-profile names are expected to remain at the centre of transfer speculation.
