As part of activities marking the 61st Anniversary of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), the public especially residents of Abuja and Lagos—is hereby notified that aerial display rehearsals are currently ongoing in both cities.
In a statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the rehearsals are intended to enhance the spectacle of the grand finale scheduled for later this month. These aerial manoeuvres also serve to demonstrate the professionalism, precision, and operational readiness of the NAF.
The Nigerian Air Force urges residents not to panic, as all rehearsals are being conducted in line with strict safety protocols. Citizens are encouraged to continue their normal daily activities without fear or concern.
The NAF appreciates the public’s understanding and continued support as it commemorates over six decades of dedicated service to the nation.
