A wealthy Ghanaian entrepreneur, Richard Nii, reportedly pulled off one of the most extravagant birthday parties ever seen in Africa—Richard Nii booked global stars like Davido, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Diamond Platnumz to perform at his birthday party.
Shatta Wale was paid $200,000, the same as Sarkodie—but later discovered Davido was paid $600,000, and Diamond Platnumz, $500,000 for the same performance. And he refunded his $200k and reportedly backed out of the event.
