The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports, Philip Shaibu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the recently concluded presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement personally signed by the NIS boss, Shaibu described Tinubu’s emergence as the APC presidential flag-bearer as a reflection of the confidence and overwhelming support the President enjoys among party members and stakeholders across the country.

According to him, the outcome of the primaries demonstrates the party’s trust in Tinubu’s leadership capacity, political experience and commitment to national development.

Shaibu also commended the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC for conducting what he described as a peaceful, transparent and successful primary election process.

He noted that the exercise further strengthened internal democracy and unity within the ruling party ahead of the general elections.
The former Edo State deputy governor urged APC members and supporters to remain united and committed as the party prepares for the next phase of the electoral process.

He expressed confidence that the APC would record victory at the polls through collective effort, loyalty and dedication from party faithful nationwide.

Shaibu further wished President Tinubu continued success in his leadership efforts toward building a more prosperous Nigeria.
The statement was signed by Ben Ogbemudia, Special Assistant on Media to the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports.
