Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has revealed how she used strategy rather than brute force to defeat actress Nkechi Blessing in a celebrity boxing bout in Lagos.
Phyna knocked out Nkechi during the first female celebrity boxing contest at the “Chaos in the Ring” event held in Lagos on Wednesday, October 1, 2026.
Speaking during an interview with comedian Egungun in a video uploaded on Saturday, the reality star said she quickly realised that engaging the actress in a battle of strength would not be the best approach because of Nkechi’s bigger physical frame.
According to Phyna, she decided to rely on logic and movement instead of allowing anger to dictate her approach to the fight.
“Everything is not by gra-gra, everything is not by ‘I too get power pass.’ Sometimes, you need to apply what we call logic,” she said.
