The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has commended telecommunications operator Globacom, popularly known as Glo, for surpassing its customer complaint resolution targets in August 2026.
In a letter to the telecom company, the Commission expressed satisfaction with its handling and resolution of customer complaints during the month.
The letter was signed by Kabiru S. Haruna, Principal Manager, Consumer Protection and Advocacy, under the NCC’s Consumer Affairs Bureau.
According to the Commission, Globacom exceeded the prescribed complaint resolution thresholds of 90 per cent and 97 per cent for Level 2 (L2) complaints.
The NCC said the performance reflected the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance, consumer satisfaction and improved service delivery.
The Commission also stressed that effective complaint management and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) are essential to building consumer confidence and improving customer experiences across Nigeria’s telecommunications industry.
It urged Globacom to maintain the performance and continue introducing measures to improve service quality, resolve complaints more effectively and strengthen customer satisfaction.
Glo Credits Staff Training and Technology
Globacom attributed the improvement in its customer service performance to continuous training for customer-facing staff and investments in modern technology.

The company said these measures had helped strengthen operational efficiency and improve its responsiveness to customer concerns.
Reaffirming its commitment to service delivery, Globacom said its philosophy, “Never Settle for Less,” reflected its determination to continually improve the quality of its services and meet customer expectations.
The company added that it would continue working to deliver experiences that reflect the confidence customers have placed in its services.
The NCC’s commendation highlights the importance of timely complaint resolution in protecting telecom consumers and maintaining confidence in Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.
