Mavin Records founder Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has reacted to a viral social media claim alleging that he and the mother of Afrobeats star Ayra Starr are expecting a child.
The claim began circulating widely on X on Wednesday, accompanied by photographs and a video purportedly showing a man and a pregnant woman with what appeared to be a scan.
Another clip showed what appeared to be a celebration involving the individuals featured in the posts.
Don Jazzy responded to one of the posts with a sarcastic remark, questioning the account behind the claim and appearing to dismiss the allegation.
“Let me first tag and beg your family members to talk sense to you now o,” he wrote.
The post quickly attracted reactions from social media users, with many discussing the unusual claim and the music executive’s decision to respond publicly.
However, there has been no independent confirmation that the pregnancy claim is genuine. The identities of the people shown in the circulated images and video have also not been independently established.
The latest speculation follows previous social media posts that attempted to link Don Jazzy romantically with Ayra Starr’s mother, Nene Aderibigbe.
Similar images have previously surfaced online, prompting questions about their authenticity, including suggestions by some social media users that digitally manipulated or AI-generated material could have been involved.

Don Jazzy has maintained a close professional relationship with Ayra Starr since she joined Mavin Records. The label played a significant role in launching the singer’s career and promoting her music internationally.
Ayra Starr has continued to attract attention following the release of her third studio album, Starr Girl, while her mother has also featured in online conversations surrounding the singer’s career and promotional activities.
For now, the pregnancy allegation remains an unverified social media claim, with no confirmed statement from Don Jazzy or Nene Aderibigbe establishing that they are expecting a child.
