Nigerian human rights lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has been appointed to the Board of the Katutu Civil Rights Center, an international civil rights organisation based in New York, United States.

The appointment is widely regarded as recognition of Adeyanju’s years of advocacy for democracy, human rights, civil liberties, and social justice in Nigeria and across Africa.

Reacting to the development, Adeyanju expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve on the board and support the organisation’s global mission of promoting human rights, strengthening civic participation, and defending vulnerable communities.

The Katutu Civil Rights Center is known for its work in human rights advocacy, policy engagement, and initiatives aimed at supporting marginalised and underserved populations across different parts of the world.
