ABUJA – The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 corps members on the successful completion of their one-year mandatory national service, urging them to remain committed to national unity, discipline and entrepreneurship.
In a farewell message issued on behalf of the NYSC family, the Director-General commended the outgoing corps members for their patriotism, dedication and contributions to national development during their service year.
The NYSC boss praised their commitment at their various Places of Primary Assignment (PPA), noting that their efforts positively impacted communities across the country and reflected the core values of the NYSC Scheme.
“As you prepare to embark on the next phase of your journey, I wish you every success in your future endeavours. May the values of discipline, unity and service you embraced during your service year continue to guide you and open new opportunities as you move forward,” the Director-General said.
He urged the outgoing corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC by upholding the ideals of the scheme and maintaining integrity, responsibility and exemplary conduct wherever they find themselves.

The Director-General also encouraged the former corps members to apply the knowledge and practical skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, describing entrepreneurship as a key pathway to self-reliance, innovation and job creation.
According to him, the skills gained during the programme have equipped many corps members with the capacity to establish businesses, create employment opportunities and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic growth.
