Abuja – The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members across the country.
According to a statement issued by the NYSC management, activities leading to the passing-out ceremony commenced on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, with a series of pre-exit programmes designed to prepare Corps Members for life after national service.
The activities include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, registration and clearance of Corps Members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The Scheme stated that the low-key passing-out ceremony will take place in all Local Government Areas nationwide, where eligible Corps Members will receive their Certificates of National Service.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing Corps Members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He urged them to remain committed to the core values of the NYSC and continue to serve as worthy ambassadors of the Scheme in their personal and professional lives after completing national service.
The NYSC also encouraged the outgoing Corps Members to make use of the knowledge and skills acquired during the service year as they transition into the next phase of their careers and contribute meaningfully to national development.
