‎A Distinguished Diplomatic Career
‎Born on 11th December 1967 in Kazaure Town, Jigawa State, Ambassador Husseini began his public service career in 1991 and formally joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993 after completing professional diplomatic training at the Foreign Service Academy, Lagos.

‎
‎His international diplomatic postings spanned Harare (Zimbabwe), New Delhi (India), Kuwait, Tokyo (Japan), Canberra (Australia), and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
‎Notably, he served as High Commissioner of Nigeria to Australia, with concurrent accreditation to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and Vanuatu, where he provided exemplary leadership and strengthened Nigeria’s bilateral and multilateral relations.
‎
‎During his tenure in Australia, Ambassador Husseini received over 40 local and international awards in recognition of his outstanding diplomatic engagement, leadership, and promotion of Nigeria’s image abroad.
