ABUJA – The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), has been conferred with an Award of Excellence by the University of Abuja in recognition of his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to the fight against drug abuse in Nigeria.
On Wednesday, August 6, Marwa, accompanied by top officials of the agency, received the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Mutiullah Olasupo, and his delegation at the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja.
During the visit, Prof. Olasupo commended the remarkable progress recorded by the NDLEA under Marwa’s stewardship, noting that the agency’s recent successes in combating drug trafficking and abuse were worthy of emulation.
The visit culminated in the formal presentation of the Award of Excellence to the NDLEA boss, which the university described as a gesture to honour his steadfastness, professionalism, and dedication to national service.
