Manchester United have made another major splash in the summer transfer market with the confirmed signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, in a deal worth £70 million, according to The Athletic FC.
After weeks of speculation, the highly-rated Cameroonian forward has finally secured his dream move to Old Trafford. Sources reveal that a contract agreement had been in place for weeks, with Mbeumo only ever wanting a switch to the Red Devils despite interest from other top European clubs.
The club-to-club agreement between United and Brentford has now received the final green light, making Mbeumo United’s second marquee signing of the window, following the arrival of Matheus Cunha.
Mbeumo, 24, is expected to add dynamism, pace, and creativity to United’s front line. His Premier League experience and versatility across the front three make him a perfect fit for Erik ten Hag’s evolving squad.
The announcement sends a clear message about Manchester United’s intent to rebuild with purpose and power this season.
Red Devils are on the move. Mbeumo is coming.
Official unveiling expected soon.
