The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ajibola Basiru, on Wednesday led members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to receive a verification team from the Independent National Electoral Commission at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

The visit by the electoral body is part of its routine verification process aimed at reviewing political parties’ compliance with regulatory requirements. The exercise involves the assessment of party documents, financial records, and personnel structure.

Also present at the meeting were directors of various departments within the party, who participated in the verification exercise alongside the NWC members.

The development underscores ongoing efforts by INEC to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to statutory guidelines among registered political parties in Nigeria.
