UEFA has granted Real Madrid permission to close the roof of the Santiago Bernabéu for their crucial showdown against Arsenal tomorrow night.
The decision, requested by Los Blancos, is seen as a strategic move to boost the atmosphere and increase their chances of pulling off a dramatic Remontada.
Speaking ahead of the match, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said:
🗣 “There is much more sound with the roof closed, a much better atmosphere. It will motivate the players.”
Madrid are aiming to overturn a first-leg deficit and will be banking on both their fans and the unique acoustics of the closed-roof stadium to inspire a memorable comeback.
