Ikorodu City FC and Kano Pillars FC, both on 45 and 44 points respectively, remain close behind, ensuring a tight race for continental spots. Defending champions Enyimba FC are currently in ninth place with 43 points, struggling to reclaim top form.
In the lower half of the table, Plateau United FC sits in 11th position with 41 points after being deducted three points and three goals due to an infraction — a penalty that could significantly impact their mid-table safety.
