Abuja, Nigeria – August 12, 2025 – The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has announced a strategic partnership with the African Cultural Festival (ACF2025) to host the African Diaspora Summit this September in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

According to the statement, the high-profile event supported by the Government of Pennsylvania and the Dauphin County Commissioners will bring together global leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers under the theme: “Africa to the World: Culture, Creativity, and Collaboration.”
NiDCOM Chairperson, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, described the summit as a vital platform to harness the expertise of Africans in the diaspora, promote youth and women empowerment, and advance Africa’s creative economy as a catalyst for innovation, job creation, and stronger global connections.
The three-day festival, scheduled for September 19–21, 2025, will feature:
Cultural showcases celebrating Africa’s rich heritage
Youth leadership forums
Business networking sessions
Exhibitions of African creativity in fashion, art, music, film, technology, and cuisine
As part of the partnership, NiDCOM will spotlight Nigeria’s vibrant creative industries, showcasing opportunities for investment and collaboration while forging strategic alliances that align with the country’s economic and cultural development agenda.
The African Cultural Festival was officially unveiled on March 26, 2025, at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg, and will celebrate nine pillars of African culture fashion, music, art, technology, film, dance, literature, food, and home.
