Manchester United have verbally agreed a loan-with-option-to-buy deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. The deal reportedly includes a €1 million loan fee, a €14 million obligatory purchase, €3 million in add‑ons, plus a sell‑on clause. Jackson is now expected to make the trip to Manchester to complete the switch.
The move comes as Chelsea look to offload the Senegalese striker following the signings of Liam Delap and João Pedro, which has relegated Jackson down the pecking order. Chelsea value him at up to £80–100 million, but are open to negotiating this summer.
Jackson, 24, scored 30 goals in 81 appearances for Chelsea since his 2023 move from Villarreal and has clearly signaled a preference to remain in the Premier League amid interest from Napoli and AC Milan.
🔴 United were earlier reported to have ruled out pursuing Jackson due to financial constraints, focusing instead on Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Šeško. Nonetheless, this new development marks a surprising turn in their striker hunt.
