Ogungbemide acknowledged the role of visionary leadership in birthing the publication, expressing profound appreciation to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, mni, for his strategic direction, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to national safety. He also commended the Management of the Corps for providing the institutional support that propelled the initiative from concept to reality.

The FRSC spokesperson extended special recognition to key institutional partners whose collaboration enriched the project, including the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), NASENI, the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG), the National Agency for the Great Green Wall, UBEC, Galaxy Backbone Plc, NEPZA, the Nigeria Customs Service, NESREA, and other supporting agencies.
He also applauded representatives of ministries, departments, parastatals, and security agencies for their presence, which he said underscores the national significance of the magazine’s launch.
Magazine to Drive Education, Advocacy and Transformation
Ogungbemide said Safe Wheel Nigeria Magazine is designed to educate, inform, and empower Nigerians on responsible driving and safer road habits. The publication features in-depth reports, expert analyses, human-interest stories, and comprehensive coverage of FRSC initiatives and national road safety interventions.

“This publication is not just a magazine; it is a national platform for advocacy, collaboration, responsibility, and behavioural transformation,” he said. “It reflects our collective resolve to save lives, promote accountability, and build a Nigeria where safety is at the heart of every journey.”
Calls for National Support
Ogungbemide urged government institutions, private sector partners, transport operators, families, youths, and communities to embrace the vision behind the magazine and work with the FRSC to build a safer, smarter, and more responsible Nigeria.
“With renewed hope and strengthened partnerships, we proudly present the maiden edition of Safe Wheel Nigeria Magazine… driving safety, inspiring change, and advancing national development,” he said.
He concluded by thanking all stakeholders for their support and prayed for continued progress and prosperity for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
