Former Martin Keown has tipped Arsenal as strong favourites to win the Premier League title this season following their narrow victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Arsenal secured a 1–0 win at the Amex Stadium, with Bukayo Saka scoring the decisive goal to seal all three points for the Gunners.
The result pushes Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table, seven points ahead of defending champions Manchester City, who still have a game in hand.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Keown described the victory as a significant moment in the title race, suggesting that Arsenal now hold a strong advantage.

According to him, the match was tense and difficult at times, but Arsenal’s resilience proved crucial.
Keown singled out Gabriel Magalhães for special praise, describing the defender’s performance as “absolutely immense” in keeping Brighton from scoring.
However, the former Arsenal defender also noted that midfielder Declan Rice appeared “a bit nervy” during parts of the game.
Keown added that substitutes helped stabilise the team in the second half, highlighting the impact of Kai Havertz and Riccardo Calafiori.
Despite the pressure, he said Arsenal’s ability to grind out the result could prove decisive as the season approaches its final stretch.
