After three seasons marked by intrigue, betrayal, and intense family drama, the hit telenovela Wura is set to return for its fourth season on Africa Magic.
The new season will premiere on March 30 on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151 and GOtv Channel 8), offering viewers across Africa another chapter in the gripping story of the Adeleke empire.
Season 4 continues the journey of Wura Amoo Adeleke, portrayed by Scarlet Gomez, a formidable matriarch struggling to navigate the consequences of past decisions. Following the dramatic events of the previous season, Wura finds herself surrounded by adversaries, while tensions within her family escalate.
Directed by Rogers Ofime, the latest installment promises heightened drama as longstanding secrets begin to unravel and shifting alliances threaten the stability of the Adeleke dynasty. The narrative explores themes of accountability, power, and survival as characters confront the outcomes of their actions.
Speaking on the new season, Ofime noted that the storyline centers on consequences, emphasizing that past choices will play a significant role in shaping present realities.
Also commenting, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels at MultiChoice, described Wura as a reflection of the platform’s commitment to delivering high-quality African storytelling to a broad audience.
The series features a strong ensemble cast including Ray Adeka, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Ego Iheanacho, and Modesinuola Ogundiwin.
Wura Season 4 will air weeknights at 8:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and will be available to subscribers on DStv Compact and GOtv Supa Plus packages.
