
The Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have announced April 12, 2025, as the official resumption date for the training of successful candidates from the ongoing 2022 Constable Recruitment Exercise.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday, March 30, 2025, by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, Police Service Commission.
Candidates who participated in the Medical Screening Exercise, conducted between February 26 and March 12, 2025, are advised to check their application status and print their Training Call-up Slip by logging into the recruitment portal at https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng. The portal will be open from Monday, March 31, 2025.
Successful candidates must report to their designated Police Training Institutions on the date and time stated on their Training Call-up Slip for documentation, which will take place from April 12 to April 19, 2025. Failure to report within this period will be considered a rejection of the offer.
Candidates are required to arrive in a clean white T-shirt and shorts, bringing along the following:

Application Form Submission Slip
NIN Slip
BVN Slip
Original and photocopies of certificates/credentials
Other documents listed on the recruitment portal
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hashimu Argungu, congratulated the successful candidates, urging them to uphold the vision of President Bola Tinubu in building a capable and well-equipped police force to ensure national security and protect democracy.
DIG Argungu also extended birthday wishes to President Tinubu on his 73rd birthday, describing the recruitment of these young Nigerians as a special gift from the President. He emphasized that the Commission remains committed to a transparent, merit-based recruitment process that aligns with the Federal Character policy.
