Abuja, May 29, 2025 – The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has extended warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his second year in office, praising his leadership, reformative governance style, and bold economic policies.
In a statement released to journalists in Abuja to mark the second anniversary of the Tinubu administration, Yakub lauded the President’s ability to navigate complex global economic challenges while reviving a distressed national economy.
According to the NTAC boss, President Tinubu has “risen above global economic dynamics” and tackled internal socioeconomic challenges with remarkable resolve, placing Nigeria on a renewed trajectory of hope and recovery.
“Mr. President,” Yakub stated, “you assumed office at a time when the nation was facing unprecedented economic instability, widespread insecurity, and fading public confidence. In just two years, your administration has turned the tide, restoring optimism, stabilizing the economy, and laying a strong foundation for future growth.”
The congratulatory message read in part:
“Permit me to respectfully avail myself of this opportunity to convey my heartfelt congratulations on your two years of impactful leadership and transformational service to our dear nation.
“You came into office at a critical moment in our national life, marked by uncertainty, economic strain, and deepening insecurity. Yet, through purposeful leadership, bold reforms, and sound policies, you have reignited hope among Nigerians and placed the country firmly on the path of progress.
“Your economic policies have not only begun to yield results in terms of debt repayment and growing foreign reserves, but have also restored global confidence in Nigeria’s financial system.
“Your foreign policy initiatives and diplomatic engagements have helped restore the dignity of the Nigerian passport and elevated the nation’s image on the international stage.”
The NTAC DG further described President Tinubu’s leadership as “visionary and deeply inspiring,” noting that many of the ongoing reforms are already producing tangible impacts in the lives of citizens and in Nigeria’s standing across the globe.
“As you continue into the second half of your first term,” he added, “we, your foot soldiers, remain committed to supporting your vision for a better Nigeria. We pray for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as you work to fulfill the Renewed Hope Agenda and make the Nigerian Dream a reality in our lifetime.”
Yakub concluded by expressing gratitude for the President’s continued support of NTAC and pledged the agency’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to national development and international goodwill.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in on May 29, 2023, at the Eagle Square in Abuja, succeeding former President Muhammadu Buhari.
