In a bid to foster inclusivity and strengthen interfaith relationships among Nigerians, the Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has urged citizens to embrace unity, love, and mutual support while rallying behind President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for national transformation.
Buba made this call during a special Iftar (breaking-of-fast dinner) held in Abuja earlier this week. The event, hosted for NTAC staff and selected stakeholders, served as a platform to reflect on Nigeria’s progress under Tinubu’s administration and reinforce collaboration toward achieving long-term national development.
According to a statement released on Thursday by NTAC’s Head of Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Ojo Adetoun Olubunmi, the DG emphasized the essence of Ramadan as a period for reflection, sacrifice, and extending compassion to the less privileged. He urged NTAC staff to uphold a culture of respect, mutual understanding, and teamwork, noting that these values are crucial to achieving the agency’s mandate and building a stronger Nigeria.

The event also provided an opportunity to highlight NTAC’s role in advancing Nigeria’s foreign policy through President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda over the past year and a half. It brought together ambassadors, staff from various agencies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NTAC employees, and other stakeholders in a warm and interactive setting that encouraged informal discussions and team bonding beyond office engagements.
Ambassador Yakubu Abdullahi Ahmed, NTAC’s Director of Administration, commended the initiative, describing it as a morale booster for the workforce. He noted that the gathering not only strengthened team spirit but also showcased NTAC’s contributions to Nigeria’s global diplomatic efforts under the Tinubu administration.
The event reinforced the commitment to national unity and progress, encouraging stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives that promote Nigeria’s development and global standing.
