The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud, calling on citizens to strengthen the spirit of unity, peace, and development.
In a statement signed by its Director of Communication and Media, Bala Musa, the Director-General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, urged Muslims to emulate the noble life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which he described as a timeless guide to peaceful and upright living.
He stressed that forgiveness, tolerance, and compassion qualities exemplified by the Prophet are essential values for building harmony in Nigeria’s diverse society.
“Unity among Nigerians is a vital weapon in the fight against insecurity. When citizens stand together and support security efforts, our country is better positioned to overcome violence, restore peace, and achieve lasting stability,” Issa-Onilu said.
The DG prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity across the nation, while asking for divine wisdom and strength to guide President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in steering the country toward growth and development.
