Nigerian journalist Livinus Chibuike Victor is making remarkable progress in his quest to set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the Longest Interviewing Marathon.
So far, Victor has conducted 18 interviews non-stop, clocking 20 hours of endurance journalism in his ongoing attempt. His effort is not only a personal milestone but also a symbolic push to spotlight the importance of press freedom and quality journalism in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council has thrown its weight behind the attempt, commending Victor’s resilience and commitment. The union described the marathon as a powerful statement about the challenges journalists face and their critical role in sustaining democracy.
Victor’s record attempt continues, and many across the media industry are watching closely as he presses forward with determination.
