The evening began with an opening remark by Maricel Romero Cantilo, Honourary Consul of Colombia to Nigeria, who praised Ambassador Olisa’s warmth, professionalism, and contributions to Nigeria’s diplomatic community.

This was followed by goodwill messages from several ambassadors, including His Excellency Mersole J. Mellejor, Ambassador of the Philippines to Nigeria, and His Excellency Alfred Miranda, Ambassador of Mexico to Nigeria, both of whom commended her dedication, calm leadership, and the positive image she projected for Nigeria on the global stage.
