Abuja — A delegation from the Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

The ATCON team was led by its President, Tony Emoekpere, and included the association’s Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of IXPN, Muhammed Rudman.

They were received by the Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the NCC, Aminu Maida, alongside the Executive Commissioner, Technical Services, Abraham Oshadami, and the Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management, Rimini Makama.

Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the industry body and the regulator, particularly on regulatory policies, infrastructure expansion and broader stakeholder engagement within Nigeria’s telecommunications ecosystem.

Both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to sustained dialogue and cooperation aimed at supporting the growth, innovation and long-term sustainability of the country’s telecom sector.
