Human rights lawyer and activist, Barrister Deji Adeyanju, has praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for the noticeable pace and quality of work on the Apo–Karshi Road project.
Adeyanju, a known critic of the FCT Minister, expressed his commendation in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, describing the level of progress recorded within a short time as impressive and unexpected.
He noted that the road project, which had remained under construction for several years with little to show, is now experiencing visible and significant advancement, adding that effective performance should be acknowledged irrespective of political or personal differences.
“Even as a consistent critic of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, I must sincerely commend him for the remarkable speed and level of work currently ongoing on the Apo–Karshi Road,” Adeyanju said. “The road had been under construction for years with minimal progress, but the current pace of work is both visible and commendable. Credit should be given where it is due.”
Adeyanju’s remarks highlight growing public attention to infrastructure delivery in the FCT, particularly projects long affected by delays.
