Beyond the Classroom: JuCE Africa Offers 35 Nigerian Students a 21st Century Hands-On Skills Acquisition Experience
Date: August 4, 2025
Juvercle Career Education (JuCE Africa) is pleased to announce its highly anticipated bootcamp, scheduled to take place from August 18th to 21st, 2025, at the American Corner, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
The dynamic four-day bootcamp will bring together 35 carefully selected secondary school students, chosen from 109 applicants, for an immersive experience designed to equip them with essential 21st-century skills.
According to Adaeze Okeke, Founder of JuCE Africa, each day of the bootcamp will expose participants to critical learning areas, including Leadership & Problem-Solving, Entrepreneurship & Social Impact, Robotics & Coding, and Communication & Presentation.
The program will culminate in a Shark Tank-style Mock Business Pitch, where participants will present business ideas developed during the bootcamp before a panel of judges for a chance to win career-focused, experience-based prizes.
The bootcamp format blends interactive workshops, team challenges, and hands-on learning, ensuring students are not just passive learners but active contributors, problem solvers, and innovators.
“The need for this initiative has never been more urgent. As young people across Africa face an increasingly competitive and complex world, early exposure to global skills, real-world problem-solving, and technological knowledge is crucial. This bootcamp responds to that need by going beyond the classroom to encourage students to combine technology with leadership, innovation, and creativity. Every session is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and promote collaboration among peers from diverse backgrounds,”

Each day of the bootcamp will be anchored by outstanding facilitators from diverse sectors, including:
Adedipo Adekanbi (Foot City)
Douglas Kendyson (Selar, Nigenius)
Bukola Ulusola (Certified Media Practitioner)
Daniel Adeyemi (Industry Expert)
The Mock Pitch session will feature professionals from leading organizations serving as judges.
JuCE Africa, with the support of forward-thinking individuals and corporate partners, remains committed to youth development and education across Africa. Importantly, this bootcamp is offered at no cost to the selected students.
“We look forward to partnering with more stakeholders in education, development, technology, and social innovation to empower even more young Africans,” Okeke added.
