About the Book and Public Presentation
Authored by Segun Ojumu, Chairman of the INEC Press Corps, the book draws on more than a decade of frontline electoral reporting spanning three general elections and numerous off-cycle gubernatorial polls.
This groundbreaking publication is the first documentary-style compilation capturing the experiences, challenges, and behind-the-scenes realities of journalists who cover Nigeria’s electoral management body. It provides a rich historical record and an insider account of election reporting in Africa’s largest democracy.
The public presentation is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 5, 2025, at The Electoral Institute (TEI). The event is expected to attract senior INEC officials, leaders of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), scholars, media professionals, and other stakeholders in the electoral space.
